Who We Are
The Boulevard Market was founded in 2004 by cheese-lovers and foodies John and Erika Aylward. With a goal to provide the best hand-cut, artisan cheese, boutique wines, craft beers and specialty foods available, their venture has given Southeastern Michigan something to talk about! After founding the market, John and Erika continued to provide their customers with exciting new products. John founded Four Corners Creamery in 2006. His aged and fresh goat cheese, fresh mozzarella, and triple creme made with the freshest local milk are but a few of the delicious cheeses sold at the market and at local farmer's markets. Peppalo Chocolate, a bean-to-bar operation using Sicilian chocolate making techniques, was founded in early 2011. Available in original, smoked, almond and sea salt varieties, these bars are a fantastic representation of traditional chocolate-making techniques.
Is there such a thing? Not really, but frankly, some cheeses just hit the spot more in winter than any other time of the year! Fondues, Raclette and Epoisses are just a few! Get inspired to make a huge pot of French Onion Soup or have a family Raclette night! The Market has you covered for all of the essentials!
The Market's cheese selection is always outstanding! From locally handcrafted gems to exotic foreign masterpieces, you can sample and have each piece of cheese cut to order! Each week brings new taste experiences so come often!
